Exercise and pregnancy


There can only be one time in life when it is acceptable to hit the gym in twdaddy’s swimming trunks, as the only item of vaguely sports related clothing that fits growing bump. Exercising when pregnant requires a different mindset (I think!), lower intensity, a change in type (no more horse riding, 10k runs or skiing), more like yoga, walking, swimming and not breaking too much of a sweat. In one way it is a blessed relief from years of maintaining a size 10 figure through diet and moderate exercise. However, not wanting to have 4 stone to lose once twbaby arrives and also believing that exercising is GOOD for the baby by helping me to stay relaxed and positive, some gymtime is on the agenda.


The above is this morning’s planned routine…might get a bit sweaty….
